Rose Entomology's nets are made from light-weight, high-strength aircraft alloy aluminum. The hoops are made from one continuous aluminum tube formed to be rigid and light-weight. All hoops will fit any handle. The connector head, which joins the hoop and handle, is machined from a solid bar of heat treated aluminum alloy. This unique head design allows for easy removal of the hoop for transport, or for bag replacement without the hoop working loose during use in the field. The handles are made from seamless tubes of aluminum alloy and are extremely light and strong. All exposed surfaces are color-anodized for an attractive and durable finish. All fasteners are made form stainless steel which eliminates rust and minimizes corrosion. They have been field tested by professional entomologists world-wide for eighteen years with excellent results. Standard quality bags made of white Polyester netting, approximately 24 x 20 threads per inch. Best quality bags are made of closely woven off-white Dacron chiffon, 70 x 70 threads per inch.
